Start and Finish Times

Date: 2020-08-31

Further to the letter explaining the initial arrangements for the re-opening of the school in September, please see below details of the staggered start and finish times.

If there is more than one child in the family, please follow the youngest child's timetable. All classroom doors will be open from 08:50 onwards to receive siblings.

The Breakfast Club and After School Club will be available from 07/09/20 onwards. It is essential that you book and pay in advance on the Gwynedd Council website or the School Gateway app for the clubs please. (The online system will re-open next week). To ensure everyone's safety, and to try to keep class 'bubbles', they will only sit with children from their own class while they are in the clubs.

What will be the routine for bringing and collecting my child from school?

  •   We kindly ask you to be prompt, but not on the yard too early or to congregate at all.

  •   Only ONE parent will be allowed on the school yard to accompany their children.

  •   One parent will be required to accompany Nursery – Year 4 children to/from the classroom door.

  •   Only Year 5 and 6 children will be allowed onto the school grounds by themselves and they should go directly to Mr Ilan

Williams' class door [8] at the correct time. There will be no need for Year 5/6 parents to come onto the school grounds,

    except to accompany younger siblings.

  •   Scooters and bikes will not be permitted on the school grounds.

  •   There will be a one way system around the outside of the school clearly marked with white arrows.

  •   We ask parents to drop off and collect their children from specified doors as shown on the plan below whilst keeping 2

metres apart in order to keep social distance. We kindly ask you to respect this and not to cross the yellow line until the teacher has called your child into the school. The parent will then be expected to leave the school grounds following the one-way system.

  •   A hand sanitizer will be available at each door for the children on their way into the classroom, until they have the opportunity to wash their hands once in class.

  •   The small gate near the car park must be used to access the school and the gate leading on to the path towards Manor Avenue to leave. The gate leading onto Winllan Lloyd will be locked. All parents should follow social distancing rules when accompanying their children to/from school.

  •   Due to the building work taking place on the school grounds, we kindly ask you not to walk around the kitchen to gain access to the back of the school, but to go through the double doors between the kitchen and Miss Thomas’ Year 5/6 class please.

  •   The Breakfast Club and After School Club to use main entrance door as usual.
